RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 03-26-2014 Yeah I have the kits. But their in storage. I went there yesterday as I have been looking for some important artefacts. Just stumbled on the Sabre & grabbed it to get the turbines out that I melted one of... I contemplated just starting from scratch as I believe the forward trench is too shallow. That inhibits the intakes from sitting in neatly that are cut from the drop tanks. Being front on pieces they are very noticeable & the ones Chris used just don't cut it. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 04-02-2014 Redid the cockpit panels so their straighter. Just have to resize the styrene inserts again [attachment=15887] RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 05-06-2014 (03-25-2014, 10:07 PM)Wombat Wrote: A couple of things we've discussed can be seen in this pic. One is the part Doug was talking about and the other is the detail on the outa wing that was brought up earlier. Not sure if thats exaclty how things were but it'll be good enough for my own build anyway.Over the weekend I was contacted by AG Probert in regards to his model. Andy shared a picture with me that shows the backside of the Triangle Ship from 1978. I can 100% confirm that the 88mm parts are used for the guns on the wings. The flattened ends are to the front. Also on the rear tanks there are 2 small handles used on the middle 2 tanks that I believe are from the Leo. Unfortunately Andy asked me not to post the image at this time but said he would do it once he returns from a trip. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 05-06-2014 No little handles in Leo or Morser... Will keep looking. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - Wombat - 05-06-2014 Take another look in your Morser..
RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - dbhs - 05-06-2014 Can you point out which part of the model you are referring to on the available photos so we know what you're referring to. Is this another part that's fallen off and missing on the model now? RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 05-07-2014 Doug here ya go. [attachment=16027] RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - dbhs - 05-07-2014 I see. Thanks. There are several of the small bits in the Karl that would work but the new photo when available will help nail it down. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - dbhs - 11-12-2014 I managed to get mine most of the way done. Fun little build. I will post some pictures tomorrow. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 11-14-2014 Yeah please do Doug. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - KrokoHunter - 11-14-2014 Still need to get started on mine (scratched - not kit) ... just have to finish the refurbishment of my new workshop (going to be awesome) and 2-3 other projects first ![]() Just scored a vintage ESCI Elephant for 5$ .. so going the right way ![]() RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - JAWS - 11-20-2014 Nils I want to scratch a new one too. The front bothers me. The 2 tubes at the front are from the bombs out of the hull kit. Don't know why that was missed for better scaling of the equator. RE: BG Studio Scale Triangle Ship - Apophis - 08-01-2015 an updates? |
