Ok so I reduced the kit to get them out.
But didn't leave much meat on the bone for my work.
The kit will go back to $600Au once these are done & I do another run next year.

Jason, I know I suggested this before, and your molds are probably not set up that way. But, if you offered a "standard" and "deluxe" version it might reduce the cost/price and take a bit less work on your part. You could supply the body plus just the custom made parts and then cast only the rare kit parts. Exclude all the commonly available details and let buyers source those on their own.
If someone wanted every single greeblie that goes on the surface of the model, that would then be the "deluxe" version and it would cost extra. Just an idea. . .

Charles thanks. These options are available. I've actually had more orders above the 10 so kit is in demand. I will probably just keep it at $550. My material outlay for moulds was more than anticipated. Now I've caught up I can see light at the end of the worm hole & can get the funds I borrowed from our house savings returned. I had 3 initial customers pull out. Which we expect to happen but those slots were quickley filled & have since had more orders. But I'm only doing the 10 at this stage. Need to move on & get some fresh kits out.

Its exactly the same kit.

Now that I've had a chance to look at the contents, I am so glad I got in on this run.
Once again Jason has don a wonderful job casting all these parts. I'll say it again several parts look like they are injection molded. These parts have no flashing with no seam lines.
Jason didn't just post production updates here in this thread but he communicated to me through several PMs.
This kit will be a lot of fun to build.

Here's some photos and a diagram of the armature I designed and used on my shuttle. The hardest part is sourcing a 3/8" cross-tee fitting. I changed out the in line fitting at the nose end to one that is round and smooth with a smaller outside diameter.

My sincere apologies for the delays.
The Hull moulds have ceased production until I can get the patterns boxed up & remouldEd. Please bare in mind these are difficult moulds to make so am not rushing into it. I am also thickening the Hull walks on the patterns to avoid the issues of thinness. You'll be able to kick goals with this puppy when I'm done.

Progress is slow due to work exhaustion.
I have 2 paid kits outstanding. My apologies to those customers. Just adds to the building stress I am under.
Just the Hulls to finish remoulding. Thickening the walls first.

I have to make sure I get these moulds done correctly the first time & am currently adding an extra 1mm of styrene to the Hull patterns to thicken & strengthen them.
