Thanks and as you'll eventually see in a profile shot it hugs the lid and follows the body nicely which is of course just a fluke.Tongue

remember that Kows bigger ships on the mercenary side, were very organic and rounded, with a lot of nubs at the corners, as a suggestion, the crane should have an exoskeleton like a crab.
Its just an observation.

Ah, i gotcha, I just assumed you were building something for the good guys! I went back into the earlier posts and found the PKA suit in the back.
Still looking good tho!
I may work on my falk and gladiator while the viper is setting up.

^^^
My progress has been slow as I wait for some new Rx glasses to arrive? In the meantime if I work for maybe a half hour I get splitting headaches. So, it's slow and easy for a while.

Made a muffler with some brackets to mount it up.

Didn't you have a deadline on this?

Personally I think you're better off not worring about that, keep the updates coming.

Why thank Ya!Big Grin

While I have figured out how, I'm not sure I want to? To have actual articulated working suspension the spindles attached to each wheel would need pivot points from each upper and lower control arm. That's usually accomplished with 'ball-joints' and I can make em. But they are a royal PITA!

However here's a prototype although it is only coming off of a control arm for now. Two pics to show the side to side range although it swings in a complete arc.

RE: Ma.K. Project - dbhs - 12-04-2010

Oh, you gotta do it now. Come on !!!

RE: Ma.K. Project - Wombat - 12-05-2010

OK,now ya really are going over the bloody top with the build?
Well, actually this is fucking incredible DD and something that so bloody typical of what you'll spring on us.That being we never see half the crap you coming but when ya spring it on us,the jaws hit the floor and the words "Fuck Me" are in the air! LOL

Awesome work mate, even for our feathered one, thats bloody incredible!

RE: Ma.K. Project - DarthDuck - 12-05-2010

DB, Wombie,

Thank ya gents. It's a fun lil thing to do but I don't look forward to making twelve for the A-Arms/spindles and then maybe even some additional similar style ones for each CV axle? That's the reason for no progress shots. I'm gathering up my strength! Um, or something like that?Confused
But I appreciate the kind words.Big Grin

RE: Ma.K. Project - Wombat - 12-05-2010

I wouldn't be looking forward to it either, and i wouldn't attempt a bee's dick of what you attempt there either.Still,if ya do go ahead with it all, even with it being a total PITA,it'll be something truely special and very typical of the fine detail that you crank out.

See how ya go but, whatever works for you is good by us!Wink
