BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 02-25-2011 Ive started work in this little gem too, just have to get hold of some hard to get kits and get some measurements and start putting it together.
RE: BSG Triangle ship - JAWS - 02-25-2011 Looks like a plan. Keep us updated. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Snake Plissken - 02-27-2011 What model kit part is that from? RE: BSG Triangle ship - steve36uk - 02-27-2011 Hasegawa 1/32 F-86 Sabre RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-02-2011 Yep! and then your gonna need a leopold, morser karl, flying sub, hawk, and hawker harrier too, oh and a ford f-1 RE: BSG Triangle ship - dbhs - 03-02-2011 Any chance this will be a kit? This will be a very popular one, me thinks. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-02-2011 I dont know, the parts (most) are way to tiny to cast separetly, lemme think on it. RE: BSG Triangle ship - JAWS - 03-03-2011 No such thing as 'Too Small' with resin Jerry. Maybe if you engineered the kit & passed it on to someone like Mike Salzo? RE: BSG Triangle ship - dbhs - 03-03-2011 Jerry, You can certainly do what you want to with your build, no pressure intended, just a suggestion. I regret not making my concept raider into a kit since I got so many requests to do so after it was too far along to make it a kit. Seems like this would be a great one to do as a kit since it's (relatively) simple for a studio scale model. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Snake Plissken - 03-04-2011 What parts are the flying sub used? RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-04-2011 I know it Doug, im seriously considering it too, im just short of a couple of kits and have project that i need to finish before i can get them, (over a hundred bucks each) and i need to find out what submarine the one part came from. Jase, i would very much like Mike to do the casting, he is top notch. The flying sub donates the girders on the wing tips, the prop now is missing three of the girders, there is supposed to be two on each side. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-07-2011 i swear i had just posted to this thread already? The flying sub donates the girders, the triangle ship had four girder piesces. If there were enough that would want this as a kit, i only need a few things, i do need the monogram flying sub, the airfix mpc hawk, and the monogram 1/48 b17 g bomber, and a certian submarine that is eluding me, now if anyone would be willing to donate the kit or parts will get a discount on the models if and when it comes out. Thanks. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-07-2011 Sorry if i appear irritated, which i am, everytime i visit this thread im missing posts and having double posts. Anyway, yes it is the 1999 one and the f-1 is the tamiya 1/12 f-1 ford, not the pickup, sorry for that. No one else has this problem. In regards to parts versus discount on a kit. Sounds good. RE: BSG Triangle ship - Apophis - 03-07-2011 Im goingto talk to Steve and Mike and Frank to see if either one would be interested in doing the casting.
