Daggit ID Help - Cylon-Knight - 03-30-2011
Hello all... I had a question to toss out to the part ID masters...
While I am officially a member of the Cylon Empire and want only the destruction of all Daggits and the evil
Battlestar Galactica, I still want to help others with their efforts to build replicas of them. (So I gots more to blowed up!
)Recently I've made a little home for some rag-tag Daggit builders in my Cylon forum and hear stories across the systems and throughout the fleet that part of Muffit’s face is from model kits. It only makes sense as the same talented prop makers that did the ships helped with the costumes.
So, if any of you have some time to look ever the attached pictures... do any of the "bits" seem like parts from known "Galactica used" kit(s)???
Thanks for your help! Hopeful Daggit builders will appreciate it greatly – there is very little known about the costume at this point other than speculation from online images / articles / and the classic show itself.

the main snout piece looks like the casing to the back of a osilating fan .

Ah ha! Another crack Cylon eye on my forum has found Daggit eyes

The round part on the side looks just like the piece on the back of the raider without the little button added on top.

I just got a pretty good scan from a magazine picture of Muffit's back, it is attached... Could it have parts-in-common with the Galactica also?

Can't be certain, as the photo of the back panel is very fuzzy, but it looks as though there are three Flak 88 shell boxes on there. Right underneath are four Morser barrel sections and to the right it looks like a whole row of Leopold or Morser carriage wheels.
