RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - LastBattlestar - 11-17-2009 Fantastic Mike! The weathering on this one is perfect. The contrast between the hull finish and the open panel rusty parts is excellent. The damn thing looks real! Mike RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - Wombat - 11-18-2009 ^ Told ya it was killer!! That boy can build,no question about that!! RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - JAWS - 11-18-2009 I saw a thread at another site of Michael building this thing years ago. It was one of the best build up threads I have ever seen. Oh I just found it in my favourites, check it out guys. http://public.fotki.com/HVHMG/members_gallery/michael_proenzano/incom_t-47_armored/ Hope you don't mind Michael. Ive had this link for quite a while. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - 3d-builder - 11-18-2009 Na thats what it is for....but I can't look at it I get to tired brings back to many frustrating memories!!! LOL So what do I do go ahead and start another just to have it with the orange markings!!! ![]() Thanks for the kind words guys! RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - JAWS - 11-18-2009 How about you finish the A Wings first. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - 3d-builder - 11-18-2009 Sounds like a plan!!
RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - Apophis - 11-20-2009 Yes i remember this one well! Really outstanding! RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - Scott Graham - 11-20-2009 Somehow missed this on the other forums. AMAZING! Really looks like the prop. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - LastBattlestar - 11-20-2009 Damn that's a sharp model. I can't stop looking at the fracker! The build thread is excellent too- I can't wait to use your reference when I start to use my new airbrush! Mike RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - 427 Cobra - 11-21-2009 Didn't I post this on the RPF originally? http://public.fotki.com/HVHMG/members_gallery/michael_proenzano/incom_t-47_armored/ Either way - thanks for sharing it here too! These photos are better than the one on that "other site" anyway! ~ Cobra RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - Gadzooks - 01-14-2010 Ok.. my jaw just dropped to the floor, and now i cant find it..............Amazing build the cockpit is beyond words. Gadzooks RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - dbhs - 01-17-2010 Damn, I missed this one somehow. Unbelievable. I'm going to be shocked if this thing is less than 3 feet long. Way too much detail on this thing. The cockpit looks real in these photos. Simply incredible. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - JAWS - 01-18-2010 That is one of the sharpest models I have ever seen. It just looks so real its quite rediculous. I wish Michael would come back. He's just staying on the RPF now as far as I know. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - 427 Cobra - 01-18-2010 Maybe I'll light a fire under his ass! I think he left because he has other projects on the table right now. He hasn't posted anything anywhere for a while. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - frossmelic - 04-10-2010 Although it is not totally perfect in greebling this is my entry. This model was 18 months in the making for me, as I had two others that were 85% done that I junked to start over!! The model features a custom interior lit with 40 grain of wheat bulbs. The main hull is made of high impact polystyrene 2mm sheet. Resin cast pieces consist of laser turbines, and laser cannon tips. RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - LastBattlestar - 04-10-2010 Can't see any pics frossmelic, but would really like to! Feel free to create your own thread so we can all have a look at your project. ![]() Mike RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - darkimmitator - 04-11-2010 Yes ,we all want to see !!!!!!! RE: SS scratch-built T-47 snowspeeder - 427 Cobra - 04-11-2010 I saw this when the pictures worked. I'll PM Mike on another forum he frequents, and see what's up. |
