Hello from California - trooper1389 - 12-05-2011 Hello My name is Marcelo aka tk1389 been using this and trooper1389 for 10 years all over the web. Have been in love with Star Wars since I was 11 and at that point decided to become a storm trooper when I grow up, also rich and famous but only one of them has come true so far lol... I'm a storm trooper lol. Ive been a member of the MFalcon-Millennium Falcon Builders Club and have not had time to be very active as my time went into making costumes for the past 5 or 6 years. I think I'm burnt out on that, and decided to finally get back on track of building or trying to build scale replicas from Star Wars to start. I know it will be great here for me and would love to net-geek (net-work) on helping each other here in making some things happen. my first project is not to ambitious but I have a great idea on making something not to studio scale, but try and make it as detailed as possible. Look me up on my next post of building a detailed Death Star. RE: Hello from California - JAWS - 12-05-2011 Welcome Marcelo. lad to have another member contributingto the site. Death Star sounds good mate. Really good. Be sure to keep us posted. I hope to get an Ainsley Stormtrooper suit some time next year. RE: Hello from California - darkimmitator - 12-05-2011 Welcome aboard Marcelo. You won't find a better bunch of Gents to "geek net " with ,than the folks right here !!!!! Now get postin !!! LOL RE: Hello from California - trooper1389 - 12-05-2011 Thank you. My first goal is to recreate the tiles then of course cast them. One thing is to rule up one of the walls in my sons room I'm afraid to tile up the ceiling. And make it look like the death star. I also came across a 36 inch globe Thai I would also like to have as a death star but on that I'm not going to make it movie accurate. I'm going to shrink the tiles to about an inch each and cast them to place on the globe. I have to take some pictures and explain better. I'm really exited about finding this place. Last thing is to build the 5 foot falcon. Lol. That will ne my ultimate coffee table or even better a poker table. RE: Hello from California - kbilly - 12-05-2011 Welcome to the board! RE: Hello from California - trooper1389 - 12-23-2011 Thank you all again, been a bit bussy the past few weeks holy days and things LOL. Well have a great Christmas and a happy New year! |
