New from Rockford, IL - Blue 5 - 01-10-2012
I just discovered this forum after reading a lot on therpf reguarding the X-Wing and Y-Wing. I'm doing a bit of archeology on one of my favorite scenes as a kid of the climatic battle of Yavin. I was trying to sort out what models were built and after going through therpf, I have more questions than answers. I'd like to start a thread discussing the ILM models, which category should I post under?

Thanks, I've been reading through the threads looking for info on the X-Wing and Y-Wing models. I've read a few posts from 427 Cobra which have been helpful, but I'm still scratching my head over trying to put all the facts together and get idea of what models there were. I'd like to start a thread dedicated to discussing the photo evidence and eyewitness accounts of those ILM models, but I don't see a category that fits it, maybe under the "research" category for X-Wings or Y-Wings?

I believe you would be correct about using the research heading. The truth about ILM models would definately be classed as research !! There are some very knowledgable gents abord this forum .....Good luck with the research .

Thanks, I'll probably post a summary about what I've compiled on the Yavin fighters, and then let people pick it to pieces and see what a little critical reasoning skills leads us to.

You have brought up an interesting topic.
I may add a discussion thread to the topics ie:ANH general model discussion - ESB general model discussion etc etc etc...
For now probably concentrate your threads in the relative model research or reference threads.
