WTB Pyro X-Wing wing - joewhite - 01-13-2012
Looking for extra Pyro X-Wing wing. I'm still researching the wings so that I can laser cut a close-to-SS-accurate hollow wing set for myself.
If you have an extra pyro wing for sale please let me know.
Or, if you have the pyro kit and would rather hook me up with the exact dimensions of the wing...I can email specifics....that would also help tremendously! I'll pay for your time if needed.

I would ask Frank, Joe as its his kit.
You just want to make sure you do things the right way & I think going to Frank on this is the best thing to do.

??? Sorry, I should have been more clear. I don't mean to copy his work. I drew up plans of my own based on the SS ref of Red 5. I compared them to the V3 and felt that they matched pretty well. All I want to do is bump up my work against the pyro wings since it was taken from as actual ILM used bird.
I wouldn't abandon my plans. I've incorporated canon detail that I have not seen on any SS replica Red 5 so I hope that shows that I'm not out to straight up copy his pyro wings. Just needed another reference.....having a laser cutter at my disposal is awesome but making multiple cuts because of small errors is getting expensive. Basically, I'm cutting...bumping against the V3....adjusting the drawing...cutting....etc....

Yes Joe I just meant run it by Frank so now feathers get ruffled.
You know this stuff can be fragile sometimes.
Do you still need those Sea lab castings?
I still have the molds & will have new resin in a week or so.
