Hi everyone!
I've been building kits and scratchbuilding for awhile, and finally got bit by the studio-scale bug, so I had to join up!
I've only done one (mostly) studio-scale build of one the un-loved ships of the RTF, the Eagle kit-bash.
And I am working on another which is prettier, the Rising Star.

Welcome and nice work.
I'm a fan of the RS too and would love to do that one in SS. Despite a relatively smooth hull, the markings are particularly complicated and will be a challenge to duplicate accurately.

Our paths have crossed upon other boards and I'm sure you'll find this to be a small, cozy community eager to share/help. I'm most impressed with many of their efforts at scratching the studio models and how they do share info such as donor kits and procedures used.
A good bunch of guys who allow one token duck to tag along sometimes.
