After years and years of being away from the hobby I'm back. I've been checking out model kits and I still get that thrill, and even more so when I think of doing some kitbashing. Not sure what kit to get to use to get my skills back, any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm not picky about the genre, just something to get me working on something again.

Hello and welcome! Moebius makes some really nice kits to get you going again and they have a new Cylon raider coming out soon that looks close to studio scale.

Thanks Red, I'll certainly look into it. I just picked up a fairly cheap 1/1000th Enterprise B model from AMT to get back into things. But I'll be buying more advanced ones soon. I wanted something cheap that I won't have to worry about messing up. Any recommendations for more complex ones?

Thanks JAWS, I've been finding some great resources since I got here. It's been interesting to read up on new techniques and some I didn't even know about. I'm debating getting a compressor in the near future for airbrushing (something I've never done before). There's always something new to learn.
