In my opinion Rodolfo from Art2Models (now called Nexus Models) has the best 1/24 X-wing kit currently available. I have one and it is unbelievable. It's not cheap, but not out of line for this quality of kit either. Price includes a cleverly-designed armature to open and close the S-foils which is fantastic but drives up the cost. Oh, and he includes not only an R2 unit, but an R5 and R4. WOW !!!

I've messaged Mike just recently and he stated that he has been working on a V4 of his great kit. The main difference from the V3 is that the fuselage has a few refinements to it and should be available soon.
