Hello from the UK! - JamesS - 05-06-2014

Hello all!

Glad to be here Smile

I'm James, a new builder from the UK!

I'm a member of the R2 Builders club, and have loved building it. I've learnt a huge amount building it, but wanted to try my hand at something a bit different now.

With R2, you can get away with pretty big mistakes Wink The screen used R2's were a mess anyway Big Grin

Studio scale stuff is something I've seen to be much more intricate and detailed. I appreciate it is a true art form, and what you guys do is just awesome! I want to be part of that club Big Grin

So first up for me is going to be the 32" Millennium Falcon. I'll be doing a lot of research and planning, as well as parts collecting before I start, so will likely be a bit of a lurker here Smile

I'm going to use as many resin cast greeblies as possible to try not to break the bank.

Really looking forward to reading a few of you build logs and seeing what this is all about Big Grin

Welcome James..

You'll find some good folk here very much into the 32" Falcon. Jump in the boys know there stuff and would enjoy another with the same intrests. You can post some pics of your Astromech in the props and costumes area, if ya want. R2 is a very cool subject!
