Tie Bomber - Red III - 05-11-2015
Just started work on a JPG Productions Tie Bomber. Quality of this kit is really nice and so far it's going together well. I will replace some of the cast parts with the original pieces that were taken from the old MPC Vader's Tie Fighter. Although the filming miniature didn't have a cockpit, this one will. I'll light up the engines and the cockpit also.

Here are a few more shots of the progress. Although hard to see, I did did manage to squeeze in some fiber optics to light up the cockpit. and drop in a pilot. I used the cockpit parts from the MPC kit. I'm not sure about the scale if this, I figure the bomber would be larger than the typical Tie Fighter and I used a 1/48 scale pilot. the window frame is about 1/32 scale? From the MPC kit. which means the window on the bomber would be much larger than that of the standard Tie Fighter? Anyway... Pictures.
