Space Cowboy's ship - LeeS - 10-27-2015

After a couple of years trying to figure out as many of the original pieces as possible, my build of Space Cowboy's ship from Battle Beyond the Stars is done.  Thanks to Joe Brown for starting the idea (he's still building his but not far behind), Gene K and Ron T for the help and contact with Dennis Skotak, and Kevin Hand for the 3D parts (the engine ends).  Not the most glamours ship but I remember it well from the first time I saw the move, so a good subject for me to take on.

Great build - especially considering the lack of good research material on the subject.
For a low-budget picture there were some very good designs (the main ship excepted - nice concept but not my cup of tea).

Lee was the prime motivator for getting me to light my build.  I really must remember to thank him properly for that particular bit of advice.... Wink

Seriously though, the awesome build that Lee did was done with solid windows that he painted.  I've been discovering just how %$#@&*!!!! little room there is inside the cabin cab for LEDS and the battery.  I can tape up the recent results and post a pic.

Even with the lack of great reference (wouldn't know it from what ya turned out) you once again managed to create this amazing replica that really does capture the original extremely well. Top notch work all the way!
