Snowspeeder by jedimaster - 3phase - 08-04-2016 This is a snowspeeder I bought from Simon many years ago and the time has come for some repairs and finishing. Firstly I love the paint job Simon did on this and trying my best not to stuff it as I can not do as good a job and also would defeat the purpose of buying it 99% complete as It was. Simon had done the missing maintenance panel open that I liked but no parts were put in. I had put some parts in that I had (not cannon) a while ago and as some parts have fallen off like the motor that gave me some more room to put in some more stuff and pipes etc before I glue the motor back on. Im also trying to put some sort of armature in it as I was never happy with the weight being held in the one spot as I have always just had it sitting on a book. Also some more parts to go in the cockpit and will take more pics when im done. ![]() ![]()
RE: Snowspeeder by jedimaster - bg_451 - 08-05-2016 Nice start. Paint and weathering look great. Are you going to match the available reference photos for the pit? RE: Snowspeeder by jedimaster - 3phase - 08-05-2016 No just doing my own thing in there. It's basically finished by Simon I'm just doing a few repairs. RE: Snowspeeder by jedimaster - Ralphee - 03-11-2017 That will work well. Did a similar thing with my own build and fitted a tapped alloy plate to the rear tub floor, solid. Looks great, look forward to seeing it all wrapped up. Lee RE: Snowspeeder by jedimaster - 3phase - 03-11-2017 You don't have to wait long. That was from a few weeks ago. She is on display now. Crappy pic below so might take some more when there is better light. And no comments on the flowers that's the wife's doing. Please remember this was made by Simon I just fixed a couple things. ![]()
