ESB LR 232 Pod - Turrican - 06-25-2017

Well , i know a lot of guys had build this, but for me it's the fist time i build a model complete out of real kit bash parts.
So here some pic's from the whole progress so far.

So that's how far i'm now.
A real pain in the ass is to add those sticker markings....man i just hate it.

I think it looks fantastic. It's still nice to see them being built even now.
Such crazy little props that are so costly to do too, but we'll worth it.
Always nice to see real kit parts being used too, something I'll be getting back to soon, need a break from the resin for a bit, it gets very itchy lol.

Those markings were indeed a chore, you have gotten this far, a few "painful" small steps, and it's done  Smile

Finale:

After 3 hours of tapeing , which had feeled like 10 hours and just using my good eye for the placement of the decals, it looked like this.

The Paintwork with the airbrush was than just a holliday trip to go.
Used Tamiya XF-63.
Details looks really sharp and spot on, i used label-printpaper for the decals and it worked really well.

That's how the model looks in it's final stage now.
Will add some really smooth weathering with oilcolours and pastel cryon in a few days, if the paint is completly dry.
Thanks to all for your help in finding parts, getting parts and for everything else to make this happen.
