Boushh Concept Maquette. - Ralphee - 09-20-2020 Been slowly tinkering at this since being able to ID the donor parts used on it. Word is from Joe Johnston, a 1/6 artist mannequin was dressed in fabric and tin foil, so I'm loosely following that mixed media method in creating some master patterns. RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - darkimmitator - 09-22-2020 NICE !! RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - Ralphee - 11-17-2020 OK. Very near to finishing the Bounty Hunter Maquette replica. All but a few small kit parts are not fitted here, but are ID'd. Still some minor work on the body, staff, and then the completion of the helmet, and these masters go off for molding and casting. I cant wait to see this in Archive-X hues. RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - marvin - 11-18-2020 That’s awesome Lee! RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - Ralphee - 11-18-2020 Cheers Marv. Its actually finished amd ready for molding now. She had some adjustments to the thighs and a few other areas, but hoping to get it sent out soon and cast. Bests.....Lee RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - Turrican - 01-09-2021 Thats some real awesome stuff. What are you useing for sculpting? Clay, Milliput, greenstuff? RE: Boushh Concept Maquette. - Ralphee - 01-09-2021 The actual bodysuit still uses fabric like the ILM maquette, but i applied the fabric, loose, and then set it with resin, to create a more rustic and hopefully more authentic look. Being now a solid form its perfect for molding and casting and this will be offered soon. Using the resin allowed me to put various creases and undulating patterns in the fabric. Its a very unique look, as per the actual miniature, but im eager to see the first test casting finished and painted. Only two donor kits seem to have been used to create the helmet and various other parts, these being the Tamiya 1/6 Harley and 1/32 F14 Tomcat. Bests.......Lee |
