Hello and Hello.
By way of intro, will keep this to a few points.
Started replica building around '85, living then near a fantastic Northern California model shop and talking over things I'd seen over the years, listening to and learning from the staff. Modelbuilding instr in college had worked on Jedi so he knew exactly how to work with me ;-). Former LFL ATD until Disney gave us the finger. I miss the crew like crazy, we were incredibly tight,.
Back to this craziness after a short while away; have got into a massive build project (will premiere that here at the right time), and have been doing a number of digital models based on kit ref (mainly Trek for the first ones) and of course the necessary research and all the usual madness. That's brought back my love of all of this, including 'the hunt', not just the builds.
Living just west of Portland, Oregon, so any PNW builders feel free to reach out and talk up the love of the hobby and craft.
