Millenium Falcon joke - 427 Cobra - 02-15-2010 The green, and red arrows are from the R2-D2 MPC model kit. The blue arrows are landing gear from aircraft. The pink arrows are radar dishes. Who knew that the falcon had more than one? ![]() ![]() All the arrows here show R2 components. The orange circle is not, this just looks like the gray arrow part that is displayed on the front of all R units.
RE: Millenium Falcon joke - MonsieurTox - 03-24-2010 That's something I noticed a while back (not the dish though ! )Ive also found some other details mathicng parts of other the TIE Fighter (the parts of the cockpit ball to hide the seam line of the top and bottom half, at the rear, there are red LED in them). This part is on the Falcon engine deck, between the 2 portside radiator rims. There's also a rough Sealab parts (as used on the ramp of the wings) on the engine deck and a part copying the engine parts of the R2 strip (cant remember if it's from the P51 or Hurricane) on one of the sidewall of the falcon (right under your blue arrow). That's funny ! RE: Millenium Falcon joke - 427 Cobra - 03-24-2010 Yes, this is pretty pathetic! I just had to post them for all to laugh at. Talk about unoriginal, and inaccurate! This wasn't even an effort on their part to ensure accuracy, but a filler for space. They could've at least asked for reference photos to try to get it at least halfway right.
