F-117A Stealth fighter - 427 Cobra - 02-24-2010

This is a project that I'm doing for a friend on http://www.hobbyli.com This was started late sundaynight while I was watching A space odessy 2001,and 2010 the year we make contact. Both of these were back to back on FiOS. The close encounters came on,and ruined it all! :---) Actually,I thought it was OK,but not enough to keep my interest once king of the hill came on.

This is only the rough draft,as I have yet to make the inside walls, which will be clear styrene. I found a way to do this so that it will have all the correct detail, and appearance once done. After all the other pieces are cut out(I'm using these pieces as patterns),I'll glue the white styrene to the clear after I cut out the window mullions.

This, and the next three photos are of the tools I use of my trade to do this to ensure perfect accuracy.

I'll make two of these, then I'll use one of my own scratch made versions to make resin casts of this. This way,if something goes wrong - the original canopy will be preserved.
