Welcome, Kenny! I hoped you'd find this site. I know that we both frequent hobbylink a lot, but this site has more progress than just talk. Lately I haven't been posting anywhere, but that's because I've been busy building for other people. I just returned to the X-wing project a couple days ago.

I hope to see what you've been doing as of late. I know that Kurt stays on RI a lot, but I guess that you've talked to him about your three footer project. I see that you have it posted on Modelermagic. That thing's a beast! I'd like to see it on here as well.

Unfortunately no. That would make this build alot easier than what its going to be. Just going off plans from a friend & Charles Adams. Also picked up a revised set of 'Kennedy Shipyards' plans & an 'Official Galactica Blue Prints' set plans of from ebay for some extra crossreference. I'll post the links to the sellers. All the parts I am casting from kits I have & Phil the 'Wombat' has sent to me. He should get a package with his first set of Rococ's today.

I have one of all the required roccos for the battlestar .I am now trying to gear up to cast some copies of all except the marder as I think you only need one .Is low viscosity rtv silicone good enough on it's own ,or does it require pressure casting ? Do you offer castings ? If so ,could you please P.M. me ?

Even with a pressure pot I get a few undesirables. If your not using one you really need to make sure all the other factors are working in your favour. Things like temperature & humidity come into aswell as the size of your castings & the style of mould you make/use. Im still a learner & learn everyday from my mistakes but have also had good success. Check out http://www.smoothon.com I highly recomend their products & they have excellent training videos/tutorials. I do do castings also.
