SULACO Big scale - leukirix - 03-12-2010

Hi guy's,

Here 2 pictures of my new scratch : Sulaco Aliens return...

I used the small kit of Sulaco 1/2400 for measure and I multiply by 8 !
Like my Falcon, I used plasticard.

For the moment, the first part measure 1m30 (see you the small kit above).

Finish I think it measure 2m50 -8F- Tongue

I hope I can catch up! I need to put some speed on it. All you guys buildingt these huge models, and I'm still struggling with parts. Confused

This is really starting to come out a lot better than I thought it could. I was never a fan of the Sulacco, but it never showed this much detail in the movie. Excellent!

I see what you mean, but this looks about the same size when you really study the photos. It's just that the original is lenghtwise, and Leukirixs' is on end. I still can't wait to see this built in all white, then painted to match the studio model.

Holy shit man,it's bloody amazing how far you've come with this and it's really going to be one fantastic looking piece if the size is anything to go by.It's sure looking good what you've achieved there so far and like the rest here i look forward to seeing some more fine progress with the build.

Speaking out of ignorance since I don't know the details on this ship, is this studio-model accurate or are you using greeblies/details that are just in the style of the original? Either way it's an impressive build, just wondering....

I've not much pictures, just the pictures of modelermagic website... and the small kit of Skynet 1A/2500 scale ! So, not exactly scratch ! Sorry !

The final result should be good ! I hope...
For the moment, i'm in holiday in Croatia.... Sun and beer !
Come back in France and scratch the Sulaco : 18 august !

Excellent! I'm very glad to see that I'm not the only one here constructing a behemoth of a model! I love the X-wing engine in the details on the end. This will be great once it's finished. I wonder what happened to the studio model.
