41" Star Destroyer from TESB - MonsieurTox - 04-23-2010
Hey guys, it's not really finished (and I have the feeling it wont lol) but here is some pics of the Star Destroyer I scratched in 2006... My first scratch !

That sir , is a huge accomplishment !!! Even unfinnished ,that model looks amazing !!!! The level of detail is first rate ,and I can't imagine how much better this will look when it reaches it's completion ,when it already looks this impressive .I look forward to seeing that moment of unveiling !!

But it doesn't have anything to shoot with I see no gun turrets!

Thank you guys, that was my second scratch and I did several mistakes on this one. (superstructures are at 90° while they should inclined).
Guns were done but not in place when I took the pics :

They're only primered.
I still would have to build the main engines, drill holes for the FO and put all the FO, paint the starboard brim trench, draw all the penciled lines (there are only the scribbed lines for now).
Still a lot of job, but TBH I prefer to work on the big brother...

Even being unfinished this looks great - scribe lines, and all! There are a couple of extremely small turrets on this, but I see what you mean, Richard. No one would know from the bottom of the hull. The towers looks correct from first glance, but most people wouldn't notice it. The neck of the con tower could probably be a little taller, or higher from the superstructre, other than that - this is cool, and I'd be proud to have it in my collection.
