Hello !
My name is Stephane and I'm living in London.
I'm big fan of maquettes from movies and I've just discovered this forum.
So I joined. Big Grin

Welcome, Stephane !

Do you build or collect replicas or used pieces?

Yes, welcome Stephanie! It's good to see new blood here, and with varied interests. I hope that you'll become a regular here, as I love figures too even though I mainly build civilian vehicles, and lately sci-fi.

Welcome Stephen. Hope you like the site.

Thanks for the welcoming guys.
427 Cobra, I'm a dude so it wont be "Stephanie" but "Stephane". Wink
I've had a look at the forum and I'm seing a lot of 1/24 star wars kit.
I've tried to contact some of the guys who have created some of those but no answers.
Any idea how I could have my hand on some like the A-wing, X-wing or event a TIE interceptor.
I mainly played with injected plastic maquettes and I'd like to try out a studio scale model in resin for once.

I'm actually trying to build a 1/20 Horten 229 V3 from scratch. Mainly styrene sheet and resin filler.

Love the site. And for now I spend as much time as I can to look at the WIPs of the members.
I'm amazed with you guys can do. Really inspiring.

Stephane

I noticed that after seeing your post. I forgot to go back, and edit mine, I was thinking of my niece Stephanie - she's only six years old. I'm glad you like what you see. Steve Neisen of Nice 'n models sells the Tie interceptor, and Mike Salzo used to make X-wings, but not anymore. You can contact them on the rpf.com. You can get a studio scale X just about anywhere - ebay has them from time to time. Anyway, I want to welcome you again, Stephane.

I will be adding links to kit makers in the Market section soon. sometimes it just takes a little while for them to get back to you. Im sure we can point you in the right direction.
