RE: BSG assorted gun props - dbhs - 08-26-2010 Are these kits you put together or did you buy them pre-made? They look very realistic. I always liked the look of the original series blasters. RE: BSG assorted gun props - darkimmitator - 08-26-2010 These are kits that have to be put together .There is ALOT of resin clean up and puttying to do with all of these kits !!!! RE: BSG assorted gun props - JAWS - 08-26-2010 Very kool stuff. RE: BSG assorted gun props - darkimmitator - 08-27-2010 Thanks Jase . I had fun building and painting them !!! RE: BSG assorted gun props - 427 Cobra - 08-29-2010 These look great for what they are - homemade reproductions. The paint on them is excellent, Kenny! I'd hate to fill a lot of imperfections. It's bad enough that I do it with my own models, I'd really hate to pay for someone elses' and be forced to do the same thing. That's one thing you shouldn't have to do - repair a lot of mistakes where whoever mastered the kit didn't do a perfect job. My take on it is this: If you're going to sell a product to the general public, especially without a license, I'd think you'd want to ensure the highest quality possible. There's no keeping out other competitors without a patent, and if they can sell a better quality version with better customer service, other people will be drawn to them. Case in point - Mike Salzo. So you'll have to earn your reputation for "correcting your wrongs", and making a better product that anyone else out there if you want to stay in business, especially if someone else is selling the exact same thing. This makes for a hostile environment when selling two of the same thing, especially when recasting is such a problem! ~ Cobra Chris
