Disalvo BSG Cylon Base Star - On the bench - JAWS - 09-30-2010
Heres another awsome build still on the bench from Angelo Disalvo. The Cylon Base Star. What a wicked build this is. I thankis Angelo once again for sharing these works with us. They are truly amazing pieces of art that get re-engineered to replicas. Thanks Angelo & we look forward to seeing this piece finished.

This looks like another fantastic looking build.Will be interesting to see this one progress.
I'm interested in what the plan is for the rest of the panel.I mean,will they all be scratche dup or will there be moulding and casting of the already completed panels to fill in the rest?
This collection is just of Angelo's is just mind boggling!

Long time member here, but unknown if I have posted before. The build is looking great. Is this new build or is this taking over from Mark Dickerson when he left off a few years ago.

Thank you for the intrest.This isn't Mark's model his is more in line with the studio model only wish I could have gotten mine as close. This is still a work in progress just need to get the funds for the resin and mold material. If all works well then I will offer to kit it or offer build ups as long as the molds hold up. Your work is outstanding for maybe not having the same access to the filming model as Mark did. Toss mine name in the hat for interest in having a set when your ready to make the offer.

Have to correct you on that one.
Mark Dickson has by no means left his Base Star project. He has "just" been held off the workbench due to surgery and fundings.
I know he's undergoing surgery soon again, but after that he should be back in business on the Base Star

Maybe I didn't use the correct wording on Mark's status. I knew that someone that went as far as they did on the project wouldn't walk away from it. Pass it off to someone else if need be, but I didn't know what his personal status was. I feel for him I was down and out one year from work related surgery.
Thanks for the update on his status, and the BaseStar project.
