Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - JAWS - 09-30-2010 Another build currently in progress from Angelo Disalvo. The last ship in the Colonial Rag Tag Fleet seen on screen. This is shapeing up to be another stunning build from Angelo who i would guess won't be satisfied until he has built all the studio models from the Original series. Good luck Angelo but you really don't ned it with your talent & abillity to re-engineer these awsome studio models. Thanks again for shareing this with me & allowing me to share with the firum. RE: Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - darkimmitator - 09-30-2010 That is ssoooooo coooollll !!!!! I like this design, and you have done a hell ofa job on it Angelo !!! RE: Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - Cylon-Knight - 10-01-2010 MY GOODNESS! Angelo must have the entire SS Rag Tag Fleet and Cylon fleet too!? GREAT WORK RE: Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - dbhs - 10-02-2010 This is a cool little ship and would be a great starter kit especially for those who want to try breaking into studio scale or resin kits without the intimidation or $$ committment of a big kit. RE: Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - Cylon-Knight - 10-02-2010 dbhs... where do you get a kit like that one? RE: Disalvo BSG Colonial Triangle Ship - LastBattlestar - 10-03-2010 Is Angelo posting here yet? He's one of my old Gal-building group pals from at least ten years ago and I'd like to catch up and see how he's doing! Someone would have to build a master (original patterns for a kit) and have it molded and cast for sale. these boards are a resource for finding out when these are available. For small production 'garage kits' as they are known, are almost always available only directly from the maker. sometimes they are sold at federationmoldels.com or other online shops. The Colonial Movers kit that is availble now is a good example. TJ is making these and selling them right now. Currently he's only announced it on RI and RFP. http://www.therpf.com/f10/ss-colonial-movers-80918/ http://www.resinilluminati.com/showthread.php?t=8988 These kits are usually only available for a short time - especially the larger more complicated ones like the CM or the original shuttle - so you have to be quick to get one. I'm fairly certain that the triangle ship has never been available as a kit which makes any studio scale model of it a one-of a kind. It's such a cool ship and probably one of the easiest SS models to do I think someone will eventually make it and sell it as a kit.
