Anakin Skywalkers lightsaber - 427 Cobra - 10-14-2010

OK - not neccessarily a prop, but a minature prop for 12" inch dolls. I made a few changes to this saber hilt. I was offering this for sale with the Can-nubby (inside joke - Kenobi) saber last month, but I'm going to offer these separately now. This is a work in progress. I'm thinking of considering a line of these for anyone who wants one for their 12" inch dolls for more realism. This is Lukes' saber from the first movie. The one that everyone is calling Kenobis' saber is actually LUKES' saber from Jedi. The one I made in this thread is actually Darth Vaders' original saber that "old Ben" gave to Luke after he rescued him, R2, and C3-PO from the sandpeople.

This is laying on top of the Winchester rifle I made for "Coffee Addict". I have to paint it, then send it off to him as soon as I get paid. I'll post work in progress on it in the Terminator thread. I just used the rifle to prop the saber hilt on for these photos. I hope you all like!

This needs a little clean up, but it's almost finished.

This needs a little more trimming, and sanding before polishing the hilt. I have to add some more greeblies to this before I can call it done.

This is the lightsaber in almost finished condition. Still a little more to go. I have been doing a little research on this, so it's taking a little longer than I want it to.
