DAMN!

That looks sweet to me so far! Love to see one all weathered up?

Um, excuse me for asking but I see what looks like a Kodak camera back there? Is that a spare since you obviously snapped a pic without it? I'm just curious because it looks like a couple I've had and I'm wondering which model and how you like it? Sorry for the derailment here.

Yeah- Bitchin Launching bay!!!

RE: Launching Viper! - 427 Cobra - 11-02-2010

That looks like a Nikkon Cook Pix, but they all look about the same these days. I love the idea of a scaled down version of the Viper since there are so many big ones out there all ready. A launching bay for it would be great for those who have this kit!

I could be totally wrong about that camera which was a "detour" anyways?

But to build a launch bay in scale with the available 'mass produced' kits of the Vipers themselves is the only viable way in terms of hopefully turning a profit- and isn't that the point of a kit? Besides making something available to some appreciative folks.Wink

Having a couple of the plastic Vipers (Revell repops) I could covet this kit as the perfect setting for one!Cool

RE: Launching Viper! - Snake Plissken - 11-02-2010

Sorry for the Picts, I not all that good a taking pictures. The Kodak camera is a 7.2 M763 it is 7 years old and at the time was a good camera. Now I have a Kodak 10x easy share z915 so I am still working on better pictures.

Aha! Didn't want to derail your thread but I just replaced my stolen Kodak with another, an M530. I couldn't afford much right now and I'm happy with it for the price. Cool

I wish you luck with your kit plans but I think if the price is "right" you should sell a butt-load of em!Big Grin

RE: Launching Viper! - Snake Plissken - 11-02-2010

Thanks DarthDuck, I hope I sell a lot? But I think $100.00 is not bad for a kit this size?
Like I sed, I need to do a littel more work to it an give it some primer as well. Then we will see
what it will look like?

RE: Launching Viper! - JAWS - 11-03-2010

I like it. Nice work Chris. Maybe you will consider making an OS Launch Tube for a Salzo SS? Keep up the good work mate.

RE: Launching Viper! - Snake Plissken - 11-03-2010

Thanks Jason! We will need to talk on it?

What the HELL?!?! Sorry guys - that was COOL PIX when I posted it lastnight. I knew I was tired, or something, but DAMN!!! I'm embarrased now! Blush

$100 bucks for something like that would be more than reasonable for the modeling forums. REL's selling his 1/72nd scale X-wing prototype for $85.00, so this is a great price for a Viper launcher tube, especially when no one else is offering one. You might as well get in on the action while the getting's good!

RE: Launching Viper! - Snake Plissken - 11-15-2010

Ok! I now have it all done!! I will need to pant it when I have some time. Kits are ready to go, please PM me for purchase.

Thanks Cobra!

RE: Launching Viper! - 427 Cobra - 11-16-2010

You say this is only 18" inches long? Very impressive!! This looks like a BIG kit at this size. You won't have any problems selling this anywhere! Wink

RE: Launching Viper! - JAWS - 12-08-2011

I agree.
Now someone needs to make an SS OS Launch tube for the MSLZZ22 Studio Scale Viper.

RE: Launching Viper! - Snake Plissken - 12-10-2011

I would if I had a MSLZZ22 Studio Scale Viper! Let me know who sells the kit?

Thanks!

RE: Launching Viper! - JAWS - 12-10-2011
