Hello from Bama - propologist - 12-07-2010 Been a member for a little bit but never said hello. I enjoy building props and other things. Slowly getting into SS building with collecting for the Dispatch pods. There are many that I want to eventually do , but starting slow with building reference etc. After looking at all the incredible model builders here and on the RPF I want to learn and document so I can make mine as best as i can. I also think I want to do them unpainted for some reason. I really like the look for the donor kits with the various colors and styles. That's about it, thanks for having me . -lee RE: Hello from Bama - JAWS - 12-07-2010 Gday Lee & welcome. I agree on the props looking really intersting unpainted. Look forward to seeing some of your props. we have a section for that thats in need of some attention. RE: Hello from Bama - dbhs - 12-07-2010 Welcome. I've only seen one other person doing unpainted SS models. I forget which board I saw it but it was a pair of the 2-legged walkers from star wars. One painted and the other not. Kind of reminded me of a display piece you'd see in a museum for educational purposes. It's an interesting take on doing SS models. RE: Hello from Bama - propologist - 12-07-2010 Well i've been blown away by Jason Eaton's models for so long and others. Even seeing some of the sandcrawlers in process make it look more interesting.
