Just joined up

Hi guys,
I'm new here but have been on a few of the other forums for a while. I've done a couple of studio scale scratch-builds in the past (see below) but am mainly a prop maker and am just about to embark on another 32" Millennium Falcon (this time making it much more accurate).

I am just having an aluminium armature waterjet cut, and am slowly trying to re-research the parts maps and collect the kits needed. I forgot what a huge deal that was...looks like you guys have made it a whole lot easier though!...there are some great talents, some very patient people and lots of old faces here.

Hi Neil,

Glad to see you here. I was in awe of your Tydirium build and was really looking forward to the kit coming out. It's probably my most favorite ship in the SW universe. With the issues and drama around the kit it just wasn't worth the risk so.....maybe eventually I'll attempt a scratch build.
I'm looking forward to seeing your future work.

Doug, I don't think anyone was as disappointed as me about how the shuttle kit went tits up...a real shame...not an easy thing to kit out. Perhaps something will still come of it one day. If not, then I'm going to build myself another....eventually.
