I know that there is no catagory for model cars, but this is for scale models. I've decided that we should have a wider selection of models to attract more talent here. Let me be the first to show all of you what I've been working on,but I still have yet to finish.
Here're photos of my '57 Chevy. I was using a crappy Harbour Freight airbrush, but it just won't do.
I modified it heavily with a grezert (grease fitting - pronounced Gree-zert),and brass tubing for a more
professional setup, but this damn thing doesn't want to spray evenly,as it's just a cheapass $10.00 junker!
This just has a widespray head on it,and therefore, cannot be adjusted. I'll finish this when I get a Paasche.
Please forgive the blurriness of this photo. The camera I used is very cheap, and fickle.
This makes taking a perfect picture everytime impossible! The handles, and knobs on the door
were painted with a tiny artists' brush, and a toothpick modified to a fan brush shape.
The trim along the door was done with BareMetal brand chromefoil.
It looks uneven along the trim (bumpy),but it doesn't have this appearance in person.

This was painted with the same artists brush, and a modified toothpick was used to paint
the BelAir emblem on the dashboard. The radio still needs to be finished.

This is a closeup of the distributor wires.

I globbed a little gloss black on the driveshaft to emulate grease.

The brake rotor assembly. This was made from the etched aluminum set from DetailMaster.

The brake line detail. I'm thinking about changing the line from the bottom of the axle
to the top of it. I think this will be more accurate to the real thing.

This is the front bumper. The grill is covered in BareMetal brand gold foil. I painted the emblem with a modified tootpick.

This photo was an attempt to show the rest of the engine detail.
