I read one review about it and that didn't give specs? S'posed to be "the" kit of it though.

Maybe someone can chine in although I believe it's the "biggest" one if not "SS"?

I did a search and found an old reference that it is 1/72nd and appx. 1.4m long. It's been OOP and I can't seem to pull it up on the mfg site?

This one is very cool. There's a review on Staship Modelers.

I'd get it but can't afford it right now. Would love to have it this size.

The SS model was about 55 feet long. I doubt a kit of that will be issued anytime soon. :-).

Oh FUCK! 55 feet? Um, never mind when I said I thought it might be about "SS"!

It belongs to a good friend so I haven't even it seen myself? But like I said- I'll put a potential buyer together with him and then those two can work it out. BTW: "He" is a really good guy.

There's next to no reference on it since it was all destroyed after the filming but here's a pic of the engine section under construction.

This would be the ultimate SS model !!

You'd need something as big as Matt Meyers Studio to build that one in!
I recall when that shop opened how they showed the room that Bob and Matt had and explained they could take in the biggest projects that way!

Wow thanks for that insight. Never realised the original was that big.... 1.5metres is still an impressive size. maybe I can sell a kidney. Nar theyd be fuct by now....

Those are the bad old days when glue came from a jar with a brush in it! I remember for the longest time that was all you could get. Then glue started to come in tubes. My brother, and I marveled at the Tamiya kits of the day, as these came with tiny tubes of glue in the box along with the kit. Now days, everyone uses CA (superglue) adhesive, or something similar because it dries so fast, but you can't remove it from a kit without ruining it!
