Here's a progress shot of the back with the two truck models parts in place...



I brought down the 2nd of my star destroyers for comparison. This is my 'museum' model, the one that took the place of the real one on a 4 year museum tour. When I built this one in 2004, I still believed the books when they said the original is 3 feet long. So I built it at 3 feet long. 3 feet long, what was I thinking?: It is 75% the size of the original. Number 3 is going to be quite a bit bigger and much more accurate.
