I agree the head hatch is slick, so slick I stole the idea and used it on my design and used modifications of it on the main body lid, neck, and rear landing bay end caps for mine also. those will also be able to be removed completely by detaching power wires at a connector. I love the idea of many self contained light sources and short fiber optic runs versus 1 light source and long runs.
