Yeah all scribed, Ken. I really do like the fact that everything as far as i know comes pre scribed in this kit. On one hand it's probably more self satisfying building the way you are (doing everything for yourself) but for me i just want my SS Battlestar and that really is the only goal i'm chasing so this kit is just perfect for me. Not only is the lid scribed but again the holes are all in place to run the fibres through it. It's one bloody nice design for sure!
Doug, the whole lid will be removable to a point. Because there will be fibre optics running through it will mean it's always infact tethered to the rest of the body. The fibre optics wil be the last thing going in it though so during the build it will be completely removable.
