Thanks Phil, yeah, it's looking OK considering how it was originally constructed in a little tin shed with a dirt floor using a hacksaw, Stanley knife, a few sheets of styrene and MDF, miranti timber strips, a couple of aluminium tubes and some nuts and bolts! Looking back, I don't know how the hell I got this far!
Some more detailing tonight, just the really fiddly stuff on the port side of the head. I have new respect for the Apogee guys- tonight I noticed even finer styrene chips around the eye area than I'd seen before. Unbelievable. You guys that haven't done this yet are in for a hell of a ride, heh, heh!
