Thanks guys! This one was a little more complex than the X-Wing but worth the trouble. This one was cast in a bright white resin that did not take the paint very well. I normally wash the parts in soapy water before it's assembled but apparently that wasn't enough. I ended up cleaning the parts again with paint thinner and a tooth brush, that seemed to do the trick. I hadn't run into that before. live and learn.
