Been watching and posted a bit, but never actually introduced myself.
name is brian from Canada. Of course love the scifi movies and such, also an aviation buff.
Only discovered this...section of hobbying relatively recently 2 or 3 years ago. Like I needed another money sink on top of comics and my messer. 109 tail.
I am in no way a modeller...havent built a plastic kit in prob almost 30 years. I have a small collection of kits, have only built a couple of easier kits so far. A TOS Viper, and a 18" RY. I am very far away from attempting a scratch of some sort yet. I do hope to get there.
My mid term goal is to take care of my holy trinity of SS models, the SS X, Y and Tie. Have versions of all these kits, and all are in various states at the moment. Have just posted the X, will get something up on the Y and Tie as well.
It seems a lot of folks start with the X, and star wars subjects. Once I get these 3 out of my system, will see where I branch out to.
i do want to close off on the having the Y built (not necessarily painted) before winter comes on. I will probably go back and forth on the others as time and mood allows.
Seacrest, Out!
