The part that is above the Confederate flag is bothering me. I cannot locate it on the Airfix SR-N1 Hovercraft at all.
What I did find was a close match on the Tamiya Sd.Kfz.222 -- but, it's molded into the chassis. Could the model builders for the movie have cut that off and used it? Sure they could have. But, the pictures show if that is the part, it got modified. Additionally they also used twelve (yep, 12!) on the aft of Cayman's Gator ship. The same part.
