eh up all,
here`s another post for ya,and this one`s got me nervous,i was gonna buy some of mensa boys smart bits,but i`ve been told by the bettwer half that we can`t afford!
so i`m havin to made the Porsche gearbox bits myself,i`ve not finished it yet but here`s my progress so far.
first off i made the skin for the mandible on the cockpit side,just to get the size of the gearbox bit to scale.i used some 1mm thick styrene and the sheath of a pen for the circular shape because it was the only thing in the house that was the same size`ish.
next i made up some ribs for the skin to form to and put a doube skin of styrene,because the top is shaped up with a curve.
then a skin on that part of it.
and then a coat of primer,once that had dried i started on the coolin ribs,which i think is gonna take me awhile.
well that`s it for now i`ll post some more when i`ve got a fair bit more done.hope ya like cheers peza
