My top hull is so flat compared to the bottom, I got stuck awhile back trying to figure out how to get the two parts to mate. I think I need to make a buck that has roughly the same curve, heat the top and clamp it over the buck to reshape it. Was yours way out? It's a nice kit generally speaking.
My top hull needed work as well. What I did was put in some packers on the bottom hull where needed then heated the top hull with my heat gun (be careful) and pulled the top hull down and clamped. It was not as easy as that sounds and im still not 100% happy but there comes a time when you just have to say enough.
This is partly why Mike redid the patern.
Also as it was a little small from shrinkage.
Looking good though.
