Just checking that my thread is still here and dusting off a few cobwebs.
After an amazingly busy summer with our wedding and getting back from the honeymoon cruise on Sunday night, I oiled up the rusty hinges and forced the door to the hobby room open. Yep, the work bench is fairly tidy and the Galactic had minimal dust on it ready for its annual massive building session. I'm planning to finally build in the inner bay trenches in aloooominum C channel like the outers and get the bays sealed up. Hopefully I can use flexible electrical connectors to allow the bay interiors to slide out. Also have to build in the second aluminium L channel bay interior cradle, which also helps to strengthen the bay underside. I have a few lighting ideas for the bays which might throw the plan out the windows, but I really need to get back into it!
