And yes Jason- sometimes you can get lucky in a LHS that stocks K&S brass tubing (usually, that's the brand). It seems that you're more apt to find it in a model railroad shop since those shops cater to scratchbuilding within that genre better than most "model" shops do? Then too there's always the online sources. I'm lucky to have a few different shops within range to get my basic supplies but still end up tweaking (cutting, reforming, splicing and soldering) fairly often?
