Are you laser cutting strips for the upper surface to layer or will it all be hand cut ?
Have you thought about adding the 1/35th Tamiya Soldier in amongst the details like the original miniature ?

To answer your question all of the square pieces for thesurface deatailng is completely hand cut.i have a friendwho owns a plastic business and demonstrated the fact if you laser cut styrene plastic itll give off a toxic black smoke. So i went with the idea of having to cut every piece individually.
