Ahh,sorry - I forgot! My dad was an autobody man for two of the local Chevrolet dealerships here it town. I learned a lot from him,and the rest I learned from the local painters' union,and experience. He left the Kelly dealership he worked for first,because it was too little pay,then he left the Dehaven dealership because he got fired for painting cars for the managers' friends on the side after hours. He stole the DeVilbiss paint gun,and an oilless air compressor from them. These were the tools of my trade for a long time after I left the painters' local # 469. The Dehaven shop closed up after the owner died. My dad worked as a computer programmer for BRC rubber before that place closed its' doors for the last time,and now he drives a semi truck for Prairie Farms dairy.
