Cheers guys - I appreciate the interest and support.
It can be a bit tedeius to say the least, moving parts fractions of mm's at a time and rechecking against the refs.
Knowing that there are others interested in the work onlyhelps to give me a push to get it done (especially now, with the bulk of the work completed).
With the original model lost, this method was the only real way I could see, to get a completely accurate reconstruction.
It's suprising that it's not used more. I know SteveStarkiller has a thread on the RPF where he modelled the interior of the Falcon using the perspective matching technique, and his result are stunning.
Looking forward to finishing the digital model off and being able to bring it into reality!
