eh up all.
as promised I have an update on the buzzard, I managed to finish off the cockpit a very long time ago but didn't take any photos when it was finished.i was and am still now abit getting nervous of my lack of airbrush skill and how close to the finish I am getting so I keep boxing it all up every year or so and jump on building some kits..the last kit was the old 1:24 airfix spitfire...
and it was a pig of a kit as the quick build then enjoy the airbrushing, the kit fought me all the way til I was happy to see the back of it...PIG OF A KIT!
so to get my mogo back I in boxed the beast not just to see to see what I've built but to see where I was gonna head off in building next. here are the photos I got straight out of its coffin.
And here are the rest of the shots I taken that day.
This last image is of the bit that I've chosen to build next.
so I made a start on the back quarter first
this was done with some plumbing pipe and loads of styrene of different thickness's,heres the plumbing pipe bit a made
and finished off ready for primer love
.
Next for the front quarter, I started right at the front with the idler lookin part which I robbed an old panther tank wheel with a lot of modding got it to look something like.
end on to the back section using some .70 soldering wire in some places.
I did finish off the other dockin ring but theres no need to go through how it was made it's just the same as the other!
to finish off here are the primer shots.
and the glory shpt of the side detail with new finished dockin ring
big thanks for lookin in,i'm not sure what to concentrate on next its either the gunners positions or the engines/where would you go if it was up to you? once again thanks peza
