Don't worry Mark,i don't think any of us will get it exact,and infact no one really can as these shuttles are not the same as the old buckled original girl.The only thing that really matters is you are happy with your own build,the same as i just need to be happy with mine.Unfortunately i'm so bloody anal about builds these day's.It actually sorta sucks as the just go for it builds are a lot more fun,not to mention easier and quicker.In all honesty i'll never be 100% happy with any of my builds,all of them will and do have things that could be betta!
So with this build nothing has changed.There are things that could be a lot betta but i hope when the paint and weathering are done it still looks like what we all know?
Well tonight i did a little more,i'm slowly chipping away at this thing.
Everything is now glued down on the rear end of the starboard side.Not saying it correct but it all fit's and bar the dodgy gluing again it has turned out sorta OK,i think?That top barrel i couldn't get to work like in the b&w picture.Cutting the angled end how i think i'm seeing it has to much of the larger diameter barrel section sticking outa the harrier part.But it was either this or leave it longer on te other end,so i went this way.
Tomorrow night i'll try and get the port side looking the same,then there are a few more parts forward on each side to do,then it's the top.That i do hope i can get right the first time,so far my track record on this one is pretty bad!
